Former Brocade CFO, Dan Fairfax, Joins StorCentric Board of Advisors (BOA)
Brings Extensive Financial Management and Operational Leadership
StorCentric, a global provider of world-class and award-winning storage solutions, today announced it has added Dan Fairfax to its Board of Advisors. Fairfax brings over 25 years of technology experience, including executive roles at Brocade Communications Systems, acquired by Broadcom in 2017, and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Super Micro Computer (SMCI), Saama Technologies, and Energous (WATT).

Fairfax served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brocade Communications from June 2011 to November 2017. Fairfax previously served as Brocade’s Vice President of Global Services from August 2009 to June 2011 and Brocade’s Vice President of Business Operations from January 2009 to August 2009. Prior to Brocade, Fairfax served as Chief Financial Officer of Foundry Networks, Inc. from January 2007 until December 2008. Prior to joining Foundry Networks, Fairfax served as the CFO at a number of technology companies, including GoRemote Internet Communications, Ironside Technologies, Inc., ACTA Technology, and NeoVista Software. Before those appointments, he held a variety of senior financial management and operations positions at Siemens and Spectra-Physics.
Fairfax holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Whitman College. Additionally, Fairfax is a certified public accountant in the state of California with an inactive license.
